It's Far, Far Away

“Royal Belum sounds great. But-it’s-too-far.”

That’s probably one of the most common concerns we hear when organisations are considering a team building programme here.

And honestly, we get it.

From KL, Negeri Sembilan or Melaka, Royal Belum is about a 4–5 hour journey.

If the question is, “Which team building location is the closest?” — Royal Belum probably isn’t going to win. 😄

But here’s something interesting.

MMJOC has hosted teams that travelled all the way from Johor Bahru to Royal Belum.

And this week, we’ll be welcoming another group from Jabatan Veterinar, Johor Bahru.

Why make the journey?

Because getting to Royal Belum is part of the experience.

There’s a difference between:

“Leave in the morning, arrive an hour later.”

and

“Leave the city behind, watch the scenery change, the phone gets quieter… and eventually you’re surrounded by one of the world’s oldest rainforests.”

The first is definitely easier.

The second might just be more memorable.

After all, if everything worth experiencing had to be nearby, we probably wouldn’t travel anywhere. 😄

Yes, Royal Belum is far.

The real question is:

Is the journey worth it for the experience you want your team to have?
