𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.

From 13–15 August 2026, 38 members of 𝗝𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿 traded their usual work environment for 3 days and 2 nights in the wilderness of Royal Belum.

No meeting rooms.
No office routines.
No familiar surroundings.

Instead, there was jungle, water, uncertainty — and plenty of opportunities to rely on one another.

Across the programme, the team took on challenges involving team building, leadership, communication, jungle activities, kayaking, survival cooking and engagement with the Orang Asli community.

But for us at MMJ Outdoor, the activities are never the whole story.

The real objective is what happens 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 the activities:

→ When someone steps forward to lead.
→ When a teammate needs help.
→ When a plan doesn't work and the group has to adapt.
→ When people who rarely work together begin to understand one another differently.

That is where meaningful team development happens.

And perhaps the best measure of a programme is what participants take home from it.

One participant shared:
